The right person won't care. Focus on being the best version of yourself, and you won't have to worry about whether or not someone will be attracted to you. Confidence and kindness are everything!
I’m 49 dating a 55 year old. His energy levels are a little lower than say a 45 year old, but our chemistry & compatibility are off the charts. You will know & feel it when you meet the right person, OP.
I think after 35, the age difference becomes less of a thing - I'm far more open to dating 45 and up then before because I think our priorities/future plans will largely align
SF - We are the sane age and I wonder the same thing sometimes. Dating sites aren’t for me and although frowned upon, I would much rather meet through connections from work, than a dating app. The right person will have no issues with your age and might even prefer it.
Don't be too hard on yourself! Do whatever you feel like and don't bother on pleasing others. At the end of the day, it is your life and you should be happy with it.
Is it because you're looking into dating someone below yoir age? Anyways, at mid-30's, age differences start to matter a lot less to people so I think you'll be fine. Also, what's hapoening in 3 months that makes you think you'll only be ready then?

~50 year old women won’t have any concerns seeing themselves with you, Op
Where is everyone meeting people these days? Apps don’t seem to work at all.

Some will care, others won’t. I’m 35. My boyfriend is 50.
42F... I'd date you. Its all in your head. 🙂
It’s not the age, it’s your look, energy, vibe and confidence
To many age is just a number.
I’d date a 50 year old. I’m 37. Just be confident and yourself. Age doesn’t matter
Just learn to love yourself, then you'll start attracting people of all ages.
37F and my boyfriend is 49. Age doesn’t matter because we’re so compatible and have tons of chemistry.

Nah. I’m in my mid-30s and the last two people I dated were early 50s.
Agree with most others, it’s much more than age. Im 39 and just started dating a 50 yo. No issues.
I turn 40 later next year and late 40’s- early 50s is what I’m looking for. My best friend is 36 and her fiancé is 53.
It’s definitely harder to meet people as we get older, but it’s not that we don’t want older men.

Who told you that? I'm 35 and I'd rather date a man in their 50s than a boy in his 30s.

What’s happening in 3 months that you’ll be “ready”?

If I'm a 50 year old single woman, I would definitely prefer dating men my age. But if it this doesn't come your way, there's no problem with that.
