Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. I'm looking forward to go for MBA/changing technology, which one would be a better option? I revoked my resignation and got the team internally changed, but still I am not liking the work. The other company work is better as per my analysis. So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?

I'm kind of in the mindset of only doing FDD at big 4, otherwise I'll go straight to industry. Am I being too down on mid-market FDD experience and the related exit ops?

Also, I can't go the route of doing FDD at a different big 4. Already got rejected by all of them cause I'm not in audit (but have CPA).

I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have an idea about what techno functional role actually is in HSBC? Is it more like a Business Analyst? My prior experience is completely in Technical side.
