When exit ops are discussed on here I don’t see exiting as a Controller as much as I would thought. In general, is it a type of role that most people stay away from? Or it’s common and understood as a normal exit so people don’t mention/ask about it?

Because nobody wants to be a controller. Personally much rather stay in FDD, get paid more than most controllers and not have to be the one handling the entire month-end/quarter-end process, ensuring all the proper journal entries are made and putting together the FS.

likefunny

FP&A can overlap with controller function, depending on the org.

smart

I think that exit opp still exists for FDD, but people don't include it often since you can go directly from audit without FDD experience.

yes 100% is still an option

Any SAP EWM fish in here? I am new to SAP and just finishing my first project in EWM. Would like to continue building Expertise in this Module.
I am therefore looking for advice on how to go about this?
Which areas within EWM to focus on or start with to build a good foundation.
I have not had formal training so just learning on the HUB and by doing as I go.
But I feel like I need to focus on one area. I cannot decide how/ what though.
Happy Holidays!
Thank you.

There’s now a lawsuit in Texas challenging PREP. How much longer do y’all plan to live in the US? This is actually how I predicted this would unfold. Hi Sharks,

I have completed all my pre-joining formalities & submitted all relevant documents. Once submitting the BGV got an auto mailer saying that it would take 14 days to complete the BGV. And the days are over now. Also, so far, I didn't receive any mails.

Do I need to wait or follow up with recruiter? Please advise?

May not be the right bowl but I need insights. Guy likes me and vice versa, was over at my place helping with something, had a huge erection but said or did nothing. I can’t figure out why..

Currently a staff in audit - 6 months in. Glad to be learning a lot, and have had a generally positive experience at the firm other than a few interactions, some tough busy season nights. Really been intrigued by TAS/M&A, however, and had a few convos with a senior in TAS i know at the firm. It’s closer to what I studied, but don’t know how to make the jump as it seems an internal transfer could take 6+months/senior rank and a lot of convincing. Is it better to jump firms/has anyone done this?
