When I first started in digital marketing, I thought creating content was the hardest part. But over time, I’ve realized the real challenge is consistency. Showing up for your audience week after week, even when you feel tapped out. At my company, we’ve had to get creative about repurposing content in ways that still feel fresh.

That makes a lot of sense. Something I always keep in mind is how creative material can be repurposed down the line. When something is written or photographed, do some brainstorming about what extra uses you could get out of it. You'll probably run into situations where the leftovers perform better than the initial effort.

We try to give a decent bit of time with deadlines, hopefully reducing that burnout. Sometimes campaigns and content will be revisited just to get some fresh ideas flowing, or to make a spin-off if nothing new is coming up.

So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? Facebook Ads after iOS 14 changes.

I'll share my experience and urge you to share yours:

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?
