When the suburbs stops being the suburbs, and your specific block is a restaurant and businesses and parkings. Should I move? All the other blocks are still just houses.

Sounds like it is becoming livable.

Now you can walk to something useful. The suburbs are depressing.

I thought the purpose of the suburbs was so kids could play outside without the dangers of the city traffic. It’s more livable and affordable for families, as opposed to high rise living. Those people still need restaurants and groceries.

High rise living in cities is so expensive because people want to live there and we don’t have enough. We subsidized suburbs because it benefits car companies, oil companies and land developers and allowed for segregation post civil rights act and Brown v Bd Education.

From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?
