When the taxi guys successfully compares consulting to slavery, you know you ought to switch to uber. Denial.

Thats just wrong. We should be compared to prostitutes. Also welcome.

The hell did you take a taxi for in the first place?

Disagree. You are free to choose to work and employers are free to choose to hire (ignoring senseless redtapes for the sake of this discussion). It's hard, but not slavery.

Thank you anonymous. Storyboard the pointers and you can take it up with the taxi guy.

Cause we don't get to travel by limos. Sigh.

So take uber or lyft?

I think business physician is a more accurate analogy

Anyone have three kids and working in big law? I just found out I’m pregnant with no. 3 and it’s been a lot trying to juggle morning sickness, but based on my experience, I know this is only the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come. My husband and I are elated, but the anxiety of being a mom of 3 kids and working in big law is preventing me from truly enjoying this news. It would be good to know what it’s really like having 3 kids so that I can evaluate how long I really have left in big law.

Additional Posts in Consulting

I want to get my PhD, but all of the programs I want require a full time commitment for the first year. What are my options? Is a sabbatical an option? Or would I have to straight up resign? Utilization notwithstanding (I’m a GPS consultant)…is it possible to go part time? I completed my master’s full time while a full time Deloitte consultant. I know school can be done, but for PhDs they usually want you to also work as a TA. Additionally, I am not interested in online programs.
