What is the average yearly hike and promotion hike in Gartner?

I have heard that yearly hikes are around 10 to 15 percent. Is this true?

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

AMA: International Travel (US to Europe) During Coronavirus! I found very little info on this topic before my trip and had a bunch of questions which I wish someone could have helped with. Now, a friend and I both traveled US to Europe in the last week, different routes, in Econ/Biz. My friend is working for a non-profit, has lots of transferable skills, and is willing to learn…but his job applications haven’t gained much traction. I think it’s because he’s looking to move towards a more corporate org and those recruiters don’t necessarily know what to make of his past experience.

When is the best time to leave and go to another big4? I am at PwC and I knew the reputation they had and Some people said It may not be for me because of it. Ive been here a year and I feel as there right. My busy season is starting and I want to leave (not just because of my team) but as some of you may know getting along with the people you work with is a big part of wanting to stay at your job. I want to try to quit end of December and hoping to start a new position February.

Is there something against doing back to back offers at PwC or any of the other big four? I have two accepted offers with PwC next summer and would love to do both if the dates don't overlap (internship and a Masters fellowship). I was told that even if the dates don't overlap when they are announced sometime next year, I may still not be able to do both because of reasons related to the firm?
If this is the case then I may have look for another internship that I can do before the fellowship.

Did I hear this right? Pwc trust solutions call will not mention anything about mid year adjustments? All they talked about was early promotions and some bs rtr bonuses

I joined EY in January. Had no work all of January, but was busy for February and some of March. I have been unassigned for about 4 weeks now, sending availability emails to all of the service lines we are allowed to reach out to for work. I should not have come here 🤦🏼‍♂️ I know it’s nice to have some down-time, but when every day is staring at a computer, the days are SO long.

Thinking having a 24’ HD and a 28’ 4K monitor setup. Is 4K for excel not necessary? How about 28’ monitors?
