I’m a manager making roughly $120K, but am interested in exploring different career paths. Most recently, Commercial Real Estate has struck me as an interest. I’m comfortable with the idea of taking a step back in my career (in terms of salary and role level) as long as it isn’t a hard reset (starting again from the very bottom). Any recommendations on how to pivot effectively without encountering severe financial setbacks?

Partners and future partners, if you made the salary you are currently making annually, and through increasing client fees and gaining efficiencies through technology, nobody worked more than 40 hours a week, would you be ok with that or would you think you are leaving money on the table and would want to get more and increase hours to 45-50? My main question is if we could achieve 40 hour weeks would you be satisfied or will you want to get hours up to what you’re used to?

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)

I have an offer for PwC DDV but really enjoy the realm of analytics. Wondering if I'm likely to be doing more PM, blueprinting, tech separation work and if this would be a bad career decision given that preference or if there's a way to incorporate decision modeling, forecasting, performance improvement in the group. Background is IT + MBA. PwC

My client got F'ed over by one of their employees failing to disclose some things to the SEC I caught it brought it to the clients attention now I'm stuck doing diligence on over 100 employees.
