Anyone need a referral to EY happy to help
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

Focus on what you gained in the next position. Like you were looking to uplevel but the company didn’t have a clear path.

Yeah that's a good y of thinking about it. I think I just get a lot of pressure at question time!
I've always followed the rule of never disparaging former employers, no matter how good that would probably feel. I've always come up with a version of how I want to grow more in my career and that's not possible where I am. That's not terribly negative, and it lets me shift the focus onto the future that I'd want.
Rising Star
Ohhh I like it! All about the growth me
I've always been honest, but in a professional way. So instead of saying that the culture was toxic, I might say that there was no upwards growth with my last company. You do kind of have to be careful about what you say.
Rising Star
Yeah that's where it gets tricky or just trying to avoid office politics but wording it so you don't give too much away...
Be honest and transparent, some people leave because they want alignment , or it could be better pay or work life balance. If you’re truly leaving because another role best fits your abilities then just express that with grace. Don’t make up lies about getting sick , or finding yourself honestly hiring managers don’t want to hire people that are going through it. They are seeking people they can trust with the business and the team
Rising Star
Oh absolutely I wouldn't lie terribly but it's tricky not just saying you wanted out of this xyz or you're just chasing the money.

I’m honest in a very professional way. I’m always honest but never really share the really negative parts of it. No need to…I give them the “didn’t align with my goals, the opportunities presented to me initially just weren’t there” and keep it moving.
Rising Star
Yeah it's probably a good idea to keep it brief and conversation moving and focussing on other things!
