Where can I exit or what career path can I pursue as a dumb consultant? MBA is out of the question as I don’t test well, Big4 exp but no name school and generic management major

I can’t get out. I’m a barred attorney looking to move into a JD preferred role. I don’t like being at a firm. I’ve applied to hundreds (literally) of contract, compliance, regulatory, etc. sort of jobs. I’m not looking for a crazy salary either. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. How do I make the switch? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Should I take the offer and then pivot to a management consultant role from there or should I stay in banking and try to get myself into IM? What are my options? Thanks!

Has anyone gone from a federal gov’t employee to private industry? I’m considering making the swap for better pay, I make decent money where I’m at and I know I have job security. Just trying to see if there is anyone else that was bold enough to make the leap.

I’ve made it to the 3rd round interviewing at three different firms over the past month, and the feedback I’m getting has all been very similar: they think I’m really great, but it’s not the right time. Why spend 4-6 hours interviewing me just to say there isn’t actually a current role for me? Should I be reading between the lines (if so what does it mean?) or pressing harder for more detailed feedback?

Hi! I'm currently doing a part time remote Job for an American company as a graphic designer. I'm still in college and am planning to hold this job for atleast 2 years till my graduation. I wanted to know if a part time job counts as a valid YOE or will it be seen to be less than a full time job? 4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

Anyone else feel like Chicago has very limited "upward" exit options, especially for tech? It seems like outside of consulting, most people who earn a higher incomes are in trading/banking/PE 😕
