Where should we live?

My gf and I moved to Dallas in February 2020 from Virginia. Because of the pandemic we haven't done much here, so we don't know the area well.

We are both in our mid-20s and like to rock climb, go to breweries, play board games, and go on walks in parks. I work around farmers branch area, but we are mostly WFH now. We would like a 1 bedroom for under $1500

Any recommendations on where we should live?

I’m a newer registered nurse (2 years) and want to get into remote work. I keep getting denied due to lack of experience but to even get the job I have now (case manager) the company knew one of my family members and they gave me a chance to interview because of that. For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?

Struggling with imposter syndrome here.
