Emirates and Qatar are the best airlines. Top technology, top service, top quality
For domestic flying, I'm almost entirely loyal to Delta. For international flights, Emirates is probably the best airline in the world.
Southwest…
+1
Frontier 😈
Delta all the way!
I love United. This year I’ve done 4 international flights to Europe so United and their partners (Lufthansa, Turkish) are always the best for the job.
However the economy seat on a United international flight is terrible but the price and duration of the flight is great from my small city
Daddy delta
It depends on where I'm going and what I'm trying to do (sometimes I need as much baggage allowance as possible).
- United and Southwest within the US.
- Turkish Airlines for EMEA.
- I haven't flown around Asia so much, but Singapore Airlines, EVA Air, and ANA are all okay in my book.
I've had negative experiences with Emirates and British Airways. Lufthansa is generally fine - nothing remarkable or memorable (but their Muslim meals are not good...always curry for some reason). And I had a lovely experience with Austrian Airlines in 2019.
I like JetBlue, Delta and Frontier. Most international flag carriers are great like Air France
I try to avoid AA for the reasons you stated. I also avoid Turkish Airlines or Egyptair since they had too many incidents for my taste

An article written almost 7 years ago about incidents occurring 12 years ago influences your current decision making?
AA. Live in a hub so it’s by default.
AA and JetBlue’s new “alliance” should let you earn miles and have reciprocating status/benefits across both airlines, though. So you could go with JetBlue and use American as backup/international.
SW and Delta. I have been forced to fly United lately though.
Southwest anytime possible. Best service, best seat selection options (imo), and best refund ticket options. Only downfall is not the great benefits for reward members etc and like JetBlue no to limited international
Jetblue does some international unless the Caribbean and Central America don't count as international....
I guess it doesn’t in OP eyes 👀
I love Alaskan Airlines because they have so many destinations and international partnerships through one world.
Alaskan and Jet Blue especially since I live in Seattle, and Im 6’8” so they provide the most room without me having to purchase an exit row every time
Rising Star
Singapore Air, Thai, or ANA. Asian airlines are SO much better. Friendly service-minded attendants and good hot food.
Rising Star
Really? I feel like AA has great planes, especially their Flagship business

Lufthansa within Europe, Emirates to go to Asia
Loyal to United (for work travel anyway) for that Star Alliance status and network. I live in downtown DC, so the American hub at DCA is popular for it's convenience, but I always make the trip (read: expense the trip) to IAD all the way out in the burbs because Star Alliance hits many more of the destinations in Europe/West Africa/Southeast Asia that I like to visit.
Plus I have family in West Africa and in the Oneworld alliance, British airways is basically it while United itself just restarted direct flights to Ghana. That said, if I moved to an American hub, the addition of Alaska to OneWorld and JetBlue as a preferred partner, I wouldn't be so sad if I was held captive at an American hub. Could rack up points to fly QSuites through AAdvantage...
JetBlue does international ??? They literally just started flying to Europe and fly all over the Caribbean and South & Central America
