Which AWS cert to go for? Registering for a training for either developer or solutions architect. I work side by side with developers in my current role but am leaning solutions architect. Don’t really know anything about cloud so thinking I just want a learning experience that doesn’t overlap with what I do now. Only hesitation is if I don’t like it, what was the point? Thoughts?

I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I’ve been working with Amazon for a year, but there’s a lack of prospective EE positions within the company. The job postings I see are either less or barely above my current salary. I’m not sure if staying longer is beneficial for my future career as an Electrical engineer. I plan on getting my FE license within the next 6 months. Any suggestions will be appreciated

I have US and Can. HR designations and about 3 yrs in HR in Canada. I'm currently in a process improvement role in healthcare, but really want to work in HR. I live rurally with literally no open HR roles close by. I may have the opportunity to work in a quality lead role with my current employer, but I plan to move back to the states in the next few years and want to stay marketable. Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Does anyone recommend doing any courses or degrees on product management? I am a functional consultant and I don’t have experience in PM. However I know I don’t want to stay in consulting in the long run given the long hours, and how sales play a big role

I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

Admins. Midwest region. Tax, audit or overall office admin. Salary range? Highest comp percentage increase you’ve seen in your role? I’ve been in my position 15 years & go above & beyond for anyone in our office. But my salary doesn’t reflect my knowledge, experience or work ethic IMO.

As far as I know the new ascendas office is mokka building like any other it cmpy. Don't expect it to be world trade center level. It's basic one.

In a bit of a conundrum, I work for a boutique firm focused on a particular industry and just got an offer from another boutique firm focusing on the same industry but smaller (10% of our size). Jump in title and maybe a 10%+ up increment (can negotiate more). The role will be 2ic to the regional lead.
