I am interviewing for a Sr. Program Manager role at Adobe. Glass door says ~252k. What a typical base would be? How does adobe feel in the market right now as far as layoffs and expansions?

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?

How many days would I be able to stay If I Country if I quit (not fired) my job that I have a h1b for? Moving to Canada and need some time to close up shop here.

The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

I absolutely hate my job and would like to resign ASAP but my bond period is until Feb 2023 but they are already having a qualifying exam which I won't clear and will get fired anyways in Jan 2023...but they are refusing to let me go without paying bond money.. 31 M 5 foot 8 200 lbs. muscular build. I want to get to 180 and know strength will take a hit. Has anyone experienced weight loss while maintaining muscle mass? Lifting 4-6 times a week for 45 mins. Cardio 1-2 times and that’s like a 15-20 min walk at most. Diet 75% vegan. How can I drop this weight? I’m fine to eat like a dog and have the same meals every day I just need someone to tell me what to eat and when.

I recently got an offer at PwC as an Experienced Associate at the Accelerated Centers, but the pay mentioned is much lower than my current job (nearly a 35 to 40k difference). I was initially told I'd be offered a more senior role and have a salary upwards of 91K. What are current Senior Associates at PwC making?

Note the offered role is on the Risk Consulting team managed through AC in South Carolina.

Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. I was told by the director to not mention it to anyone but I figured if anyone knew I got one it’d be my boss. I feel super uncomfortable now because do I essentially lie to my boss because I’m not supposed to talk about it.
