I used to work for Allstate, and they paid for me to get my Master's. This was several years ago, but their tuition reimbursement policy was top tier. It is definitely worth looking into.

Many companies offer $5,250 per year, the federal limit can be reimbursed tax-free.

What degree or program are you looking to enroll?

Hey all. Just had a question for any insurance underwriters who work in the states. I am moving down there at some point and I would like to know.. What is the insurance landscape like compared to canada? Anyone working in new York state? Is there a lot more red tape? What is the pace of work like? If anyone is willing to have a phone call that would be greatly appreciated. I am in environmental.

Quite miffed as I just got a small pay rise and now I think this plus the upcoming not rises in utilities and inflation will pretty much cancel it out.

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.

I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.

Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.

Should I stay or should I go?
