I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

I broke up with my EX mainly because the relationship with my child and her was not the best, it sucks but I have to look out for my child, So far I am able to do the things I can do now. I joined a competitor company due to toxic boss in June 2022 which my previous company has got idea about and have still not recieved F&F money and experience letter since 3 months.
In the offer letter it was written that I am prohibited to join competitor company after resigning but I got to know from sources that such contracts don't hold any relevance. Which one is good to join TIAA or Citi for java developer?
Compansation is similar in both places just TIAA has variable and internet allowance 3500 per month and citi has bonus.
