Definitely Blackstone Real estate. It sounds so much more interesting than SEC. Plus your skills could help you personally and transfer to building generational wealth in Real Estate. I worked at CBRE at one point and the potential salaries were insane. Just my point of view on long term potential.

I’d also lean towards real estate funding at Blackstone since it sounds like you’d get exposure to some unique deals and financial strategies. But SEC reporting at Goldman has its own prestige and stability. Tough choice! What’s your gut telling you?
Leaning towards BX as well, given its fund accounting but its real estate and real estate is my long term career goal. Could always transfer into a different role at the firm as long as the performance is good the first 2-3 years.
Fund** not funding
Former fund accountant: it's sooo boring, and kinda niche so you'll be specializing yourself. I'd keep in mind if you plan to move states or cities, fund accountants aren't everywhere. With that said, sec reporting at Goldman is probably more hours.
I do feel it's easier to get promoted in fund accounting, even if by jumping around. But it'll be a bit of work to make a transition out of it.
I also came to fund accounting 4 years ago after a year and a half in tax. I had the same experience, it's too repetitive for my taste. Unfortunately I am 4 years in and I don't think anyone in tax would hire me back.
SEC reporting, more marketable when you leave.
