It is sadly very rare to get a US based company to sponsor a visa for a Western European staff member. Despite pushing for it many times, I have only seen it actually happen twice- once for a very senior guy who specialized in a niche industry (I backed this one) and once for a junior guy who was having an affair with a VP in the US (I obviously didn’t back this one).
Try organizations like the UN, NATO, World Bank if you’d like to explore cross border opportunities.
They don’t do L1? Internal company transfer visa? If you can do that as exec level manager (i.e. You are responsible for a process/ team/ resources and US job is very similar), green card can be easier than just employment based.
L1 or L2 should still be available but on a case by case basis and likely easier if you are higher level. Try get partner support from the the u.s side to push it.
