Also is it possible for a UI Developer in Nagarro to take up backend development work along with UI? IDK .. If we are are too smart or are a jack of all and hence are chickens to get out .. Before you get off all pissed off about this and take it personally .. I am saying this from experience from spending more than 10+ yrs in consulting and it's hard to make it thru by not being nimble but also cannot stay long in one niche to 'master' it
I found a sugar daddy 😝
D1 you couldn't have said it better and this is my main fear with consulting. I know a little about a few things, but wonder what the hell I would do if I moved into industry at a more senior level bc I wouldn't have the specialized knowledge. Interesting to hear that you feel that way even after 10 years. Best time to get out?
I've been fired. But the employer a nice enough to call it a layoff. I tried something different and it didn't work out - for a variety of reasons. Reasons that those who have stayed at one company since undergrad can't understand. But I took a risk. And learned. And got better.
Just kidding
So many of us would like to go out in a blaze of glory. But we're too smart to do that. But some presumably throw caution to the wind....
Been in both and in most companies, if you are a strong performer - you will be ok. The talent level in industry is typically lower so if you can get things done and learn quick, you will do well.
