I'm starting to form some disdain to having insecure white women as supervisors. It's hard to boss up in my role if I always tip toe-ing around their extreme passive agressiveness... (con't)
Hey Sharks, kindly suggest some companies hiring aggressively for Data/Business analyst roles and paying well probably above 10-11 LPA at least. YOE 15 months as a data engineer.

What’s the best resource for learning about asset management/the investment world. Like an “asset management for dummies” type of thing. I just got into the asset management sector after being in the mortgage industry for a decade. It’s been so long since I’ve learned all the different investments/terms so I’m a little lost. I don’t have to be an expert in AM for my role, but a crash course understanding would really benefit me in my role. TYIA
Thoughts on moving into more of a PMM role? I currently have 10 YOE of acquisition based marketing in financial products. I design, implement and track acquisition campaigns but I also work with our tech team and design new UX, acquisition channels and other enhancements. I have my hand in a lot of facets of our program! I’m looking towards fintechs for growth opportunities and it seems like most positions are posted at Product Marketing Managers. Would taking some specific certifications help?
Acceptable to wear short sleeved dress shirts to a client location during the summer months?
Anyone here get their CFF? What is the deal with the 1,000 hour requirement? Do I actually need to get my hours exported (showing some mixture of work) for the last 5 years? The instructions are vague.
Have got an offer from Maersk. I'm really interested to join. But on seeing the recession scenario and some companies withdrawing offers, I'm really afraid whether Maersk will also follow suit.
1.)Will they honour the offer letters once given.?
2.) How is the company for job security in general.
3.) How is it currently given the recession scenario?
Nothing worse than having to ask a customer to repeat themselves over three times. It’s so embarrassing but the music in here is so loud for no reason???

My black experience at my current place....... supervisor is known to be racist at a diversity and inclusion school. Great! Unfortunately I am the ONLY black person in our department. She "our leader" doesn’t make me feel like I am part of the team. I feel like an outcast. When I try to bond with other members on my team. She quickly divide us. I would like to give yall more information. I need some wine.

I'm a woman in tech, and over the course of my career I've experienced some egregious instances of sexism. In addition to impacting my career progression, it's made me a lot more bitter and reactive than I'd like to be, which I find obviously detrimental particularly in continued male dominated workplaces.
Women - other than therapy, have you found anything helpful for dealing with this kind of thing?
Men - is there a best way to talk to you about unintentionally sexist behaviour?
Is there a way to invest in startups without being accredited? Looking to transition into VC in the future so I'm trying to get my feet wet in some way.
Gonna need a new job soon. Owner is sucking the cash out of this company to buy toys. Who actually hires 50+ year olds anymore? If it helps, I’m great with technology and not afraid of new challenges. Experience with both big and small companies.

I am an IT staff auditor with two years of experience. I have an interview coming up at a f500 company. They put the pay scale between $69000 and $99000 for this role. What should I ask for if they ask me how much compensation I am looking for? TIA.
How did some of you gain more experience in the IT side of advisory? My role is internal audit heavy without much emphasis on IT controls as we have a separate group for that.
Just became an experienced associate in PA. Find the job dull and monotonous. Are there any paths for moving into consulting? If so what type of consulting would be a good fit from someone who has experience in IT Audit?
You have two opportunities:
Stay at your current company, making 82k a year, with the communicated expectation that in 2 years you’ll make manager. Or go to a new company, taking a title demotion, and make 110k a year. The new company’s structure has 4 associate levels before manager, of which I’d be at the1st level, pushing manager out at least 5 years.
