SC1 thanks for the detail...reading that made my arm hairs raise! We've been sticking to the full proof pullout method lol
OP it's more of a holepunch (that self-closes and heals invisibly) on both sides to grab the vas, remove a portion and cauterize both sections shut. Yeah its not fun for a couple days but think longterm especially if you already have kids. Its not like you would ever want to / should have more - in any other circumstance.
Your wife will thank you for removing the burden of contraceptives from being solely on her.
No way....homie don’t play that
Does s*x feel the same after the procedure? I tend to stay from anything that may affect one of the great reasons for living.
#3 due in Oct. Wife mat leave through Feb. Pat leave and ✂⚾⚾ March Madness '19.
A1 — they basically use the type of needle they use for mass immunizations to punch open a small hole and then cauterize through that hole. Since it is such a small hole it heals very quickly, recovery is easier, and way less likely to get an infection.
I had mine procedure done on a Thursday morning and while not recommended, I could have gone back to work on Friday if I really had to. I ended up working from home half that day and had a normal weekend and back at work on Monday.
Went the non-scalpel route and it was pretty easy. On drugs the rest of the day and a little uncomfortable for the next couple of days but never really in much pain. I did it on a Thursday, took it easy the weekend, and no problems back at work on Monday.
Same procedure as WMP above, was heavily-drugged and watched lots of UEFA soccer over 2 days and felt mobile by day 3. Taking final confirmation test next week!
Non-scapel? Is it a laser or something? Lol
Had mine done with regular surgery style. I have two kids I knew I was done and it was easier than my wife having to go through a procedure. Painless and easy and if you’re in DC I have the name of a great doctor
Did mine as an outpatient at the hospital with a general anesthesia since he had trouble finding the vas in the consult appointment (rare). Even still recovery was an afternoon in bed and a light few days with an ice pack, no real meds. Got two kids and was in my early 40’s so happy to have done it.
I did the scalpel route, my doc was old school. No regrets really, I heard about non-scalpel after the fact so I really didn’t know what I missed. Drugs and taking easy in front of the TV.
The guys on Good Mythical Morning got vasectomies together. Just search it on Youtube. They don't show the direct procedure, but it's surprisingly informative.
Second injection to numb stung like a motherfucker. Other than that it was easy, didn’t dare watch it though. Recovery was fine - 24 hours of laying around a bit sore. Key is to not do much and avoid aggravating anything.
Me. Great. Kick to the nuts. Sore for a week. Best decision ever.
First weekend of march madness is a big time to have it done.
@OP, I hope that LOL was “LOL, just kidding because obviously I know the pullout method doesn’t work”, cause if not better not give away that crib and stroller just yet
@M1- no changes in that department, but there can be side effects related to scar tissue that while very rare, can be painful.
piece of cake
This is a sin and you are going to hell.
