Because most Muslim men have been brain fed since childhood that women have a traditional role in society and homes, and when they come across successful and ambitious women they get insecure.
Ignore them and move on.
Ad hominems don’t make an argument wrong. Why should anyone trust a liberal Zionist like you in a Muslim group?
Not always true. My wife was a consultant.
In the same profession, then you always have something to talk about. The risk is that you always talk about work.
She was when we got engaged and married. She quit after our second kid because of child care issues during Covid
IMO its because of the demanding nature of consulting, the travel, and that we know it’s a shark tank. It’s also conducive to having affairs and relationships. Men are afraid of these potential issues. Also it’s hard to be the best spouse when you consult and sometimes we want a home outside of consulting. That’s my two cents.
Most men that have money just want a woman to take care of the house, kids, and follow their lead. It might not be what you want to hear, but it’s the reality for many in this demographic.
This is reinforced by both our Islamic tradition and countless modern sociologists as well.
My wife was in consulting first 10 years of our marriage. She quit consulting when we had our 3rd kid and moved to an industry role. Frankly she loves the WLB and the pay. Alhamdullilah it was a win-win situation as she gets more time with the kids teaching them Islam.
