McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

I’m definitely opening the ex-McK to see what’s what. I might open the other.
There will always be people triggered by stuff like that, but they’ll be triggered by almost anything so you can’t solve for them anyway. If it gets a person noticed and hired into the job they want, good for them for not caring what a few sensitive strangers on the Internet think about it.
I personally have no plans to do it. Ex-KPMG doesn’t likely have the same impact 😂 But I understand it. To each their own.

I’m also ex-KPMG and 100% agree with this take.
One of the weirdest “equality” trends of our era is this tendency to think that individuals are *not* going to do everything legal and within their power to increase the likelihood of success for them and their families. MBB folks are not losing sleep because they cracked firms the rest of us did not.
I once saw an "Ex of my ex" on a LinkedIn profile
The ones that are hilarious are the “ex-company” and they’ve only interned there
While I totally get the point of doing this on LinkedIn, I am wondering why some >60 year old man still introduce themselves as „ex-McKinsey“ because they have worked there 1- 2 years in their early 20s. Is it really still that relevant if you have built up your career for over 3-4 decades?
