Why does everyone want to go to GRC?

I actually wanna do IT project management or product management, so trying to see how I can pivot

Why are you against it?

The posting was pulled but it did catch my interest. Safe to say majority of GRC roles don’t pay that high?

GRC wont wake you up in the middle of the night during a fire in other cyber areas

Either that or L1-L2 security ops

Hi, I have about 2.5 years of work experience in JP Morgan and an MBA in Finance from IIM Ranchi.
What are the chances of switching to a front-end role in private equity/M&A at the Consultant level? Also, an idea of the approximate salary would be helpful.
Thank you!

I’m an MS Management Student graduating in June 2023. I applied to over 40 positions within the Big 4/MBB and even with extensive networking, I haven’t heard back from any really. I have an offer from a pretty well-known but less prestigious Consulting Firm, but I’m wondering what my chances even are of going Big 4/MBB if I’m not a campus hire. Will they even consider me for an experienced hire a year or two down the road if they showed no interest this time? Any advice welcome!

Hi all, I’d love to hear from PR/Comms folks about the process of transitioning from agency to an in-house role. What kind of chance does a PR pro with ~7 years of solid experience across CPG and hospitality brands, including a mix of global agency work and smaller boutique firms, have at going in house? Do you typically need more experience before going in house? Would be great to hear about various experiences from those that have made the transition. Thanks!

I am getting a good project in current company where there will be lot of learning
Initially it will be manual and then it will have automation testing. At the same time I have an offer in another company with good package but there won't be much learning compared to the current company project I am yet to get locked. Is learning important and priority for 4.5 years of experience? Or better to go with the high package offer? (Other company offer is from TCS). Your valuable comments would help.

Trying to give this company a chance but see an opportunity at PWC I think I would be a great fit for. Any advice?

I've got 4 years at a staffing agency after getting Masters in HRM and making a complete career change in 2018. Doing full cycle recruiting and account management. I feel I'm doing very well (in the role and with comp $57 base + commission = ~$91k last year) BUT I feel stuck!! I'm feeling undervalued and unchallenged. I think I'd love corporate recruiting/TA Specialist, etc. How do I make the jump? Should I just keep truckin??
