I think agencies are on their way out from effective and meaningful use of technology. Tech giants are dealing with clients directly (cutting agencies out). Consultancies are tapping into making nowadays, and although they are not there yet, I struggle to see any agency truly differentiating in terms of tech approach and capabilities.

From what I can see, most agencies are just working on small web experiences and social interactive activations.

I don’t think any agency out there has the credibility to run “real digital transformation” project.

Hi!Would like to get some perspectives on the Walmart and Amazon offers that I just received. Slightly more interested in Amazon Fashion's work but it's offered at $80K less than Walmart...
A few questions here:
1) Is the Amazon brand better than Walmart that's worth $80K in TC?
2) Are Strategy roles better perceived than Marketing roles and will have higher long-term pay potential? (I went to business school where almost everybody wants to do Strategy...)
