Given that not a lot of places seem to be hiring, you'd probably have more success trying to move internally. Plus, you say you like the company, so you might as well try to stay.

If you still like the company, I’d seriously explore internal first. It’s usually easier to switch lanes when you already know the business and have internal context. External can still be worth testing, but internal mobility is often the lower-risk move.

A change of scenery within the same company has revitalize many careers, this is a good option that I wished more companies promoted. Almost every company I worked at claims to promote this but when its time they are very hesitant because they dont like poaching internally. Or I've seen the claim that X group trained and invest into $ and therefore internal transfers are rejected.

Sounds like the issue is more the team than the company. Internal transfer could solve that without starting from scratch.

Its all internal before it can be manifested external..... thats why its "hard" but its so worth it
