With the holidays in full swing are you taking a full vacation or just a few days off?

I’m unfortunately going to have to be on call so I get to hang around close to home with my phone on

At least my client is only going to be on site for the week prior

I had two days off last week, I'm working this week, and I'm going on a cruise the following week. We're going to Mexico and I'm very excited. It's my first vacation of the year and I need it.

That sounds amazing!

I am taking two weeks off at the end of December. I do that pretty much every year if I can. I am really excited to spend time with friends and family.

That’s my usual but this year my plant is skipping a shutdown and my project is in production so I get to work 🤦🏻

Yes, I’m off the last weeks of December. I’m pretty excited about it. I knew saving my PTO to the end of the year would come in handy.

I like to add my days off around company holidays so I can extend my vacation time. This year I’m taking a few days off before Christmas.

Any tips on how to deal with this…my entire team was let go today (was 5, now just me). We functioned as the Marketing team for 4 brands and primarily focused on product launches and sustaining social media content. My plan moving forward is to only focus on the top revenue driving product launches for now and say “no” to basically everything else. Would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation and can offer some advice.

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

Hi guys what is the expected from CTC for 4 years experience in .net + react js

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Still a blank slate in terms of tax experience, but I honestly do have a slight interest in international tax. Brought it up and I was given some names to find some work opportunities in that area. Besides SALT, any other specialized areas I should try to get some experience in? Also open to any tips and tricks to help tailor my workflow and experiences for the months to come.

It is elementary that the development of a theory is based on completed and finished works or theories with a sufficient basis to be possible. But what were guys like Plato based on? He could only rely on what his mind told him. It must have been very difficult but at the same time, they were very brave in defending their ideas.
