Working at the boutique in hotel that does pool parties is interesting. For the parties the women wear bikinis but it's kind of looked down on for a guy to wear a speedo or shorter swim shorts. I've always found that odd. Now that it is 2024 we should just be able to wear swimsuits that we're confident/comfortable in.

Agree. As a female, I’ve started going topless like guys as it’s odd they’re allowed to go topless and females get looked down upon for doing so.
I’m more comfortable this way too 🙂

What if the men wore bikinis?

funny

What if the bikinis men wore?

Yeah, the general public sees that as not being masculine, and apparently, the worst thing a man can do is not protect his masculinity at all cost.

here are some practicalities for the hotel to consider. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable, while also respecting the vibe of the event. Bikinis and Speedos might be common at the beach, but for a pool party at a swanky boutique hotel, some guests might expect a slightly more...refined look.

At the hotel I work for, they send out a communication to guests to be as modest as possible with swimwear as it is a family hotel. Policies can change from hotel to hotel.

Nobody wants to see me wear speedos. Absolutely degenerate behavior.

I firmly believe leadership makes the difference.

Not only, it highlins each one's value, but especially spreads this value among others.
I'm speaking about life, in a broad sense, which also include work life, but it is not limited to that.

Looking for any kind of suggestion to improve my leadership: books, experiences, attitudes, daily-routine, ...

Thank you!
