Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?

I need help managing a contract transition. I just started working as project manager owning a large system and help manage a team of developers contracted by a different company. Now their contract is ending and I’ve been asked to represent the gov’t as a contractor and make sure the transition goes well. I’ve never been in this position…usually I’m either transitioning in or out. The outgoing isn’t very organized with their knowledge transfer and documentation and want to help them but how?

How should I handle a co-teacher who says things in class that are ableist? I don't think she realizes she's doing it, but with more than a few vision or hearing impaired students in her classroom it's pretty noticeable to me. None of them have complained about it, but I doubt they would. I just think sayings like "what are you blind?" are pretty tone deaf when you have vision impaired students. Even if it isn't aimed at them or it's said jokingly.
