for those of you in internal audit at the senior level, how many hours a week do you average ?

You ever feel like you’re not cut out for all the huff and puff of a big agency ( because of the hierarchy bs and politics) but also feel like you need the experience? Advice?

A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(

I suffer from depression. Currently on 150mg Venafaxcine. It seems my depression is worse in the day and I come alive at night. Has anyone experienced this with or without Venafaxcine?

What’s the hierarchy in internal audit? It looks like director requires only about 10 years of experience. What’s after that? Do people just stay at that level for a while?

So I’m probably thinking too much. But I’m looking to leave public accounting and have an opportunity with internal audit. I want to make sure where I go I have good opportunities to advance and if needed be marketable to other companies. Do you think internal audit makes you more or less marketable to other opportunities in the future?

I am currently a CPA debating if I should work towards a CIA certification.

If I read this correctly I can forgoe some of the CIA exam since I am already a CPA. Is this correct?
