Hybrid environment is pretty standard now but lack of insurance coverage for family is a killer.
Yes
Depends on the pay. I’ll put up with a lot for $5mm/year
Rising Star
If I was not desperate I would keep looking. I turned down an offer last year as the overall comp was trash (awful benefits). If I had been unemployed I would have possibly taken it but since I was looking for an upgrade it was an easy pass.
Hybrid and PTO aren't terrible. No health benefits for dependents or spouse would be a non starter for me. I mean, some employers make you pay full price for spouse and kids, but they at least offer it.
I have seen some companies say that spouses are not eligible to be added if they have access to another plan (eg if they are working and their job offers insurance, even if they don't use it). Luckily mine stays at home so I can add in those cases.
Yes, definitely.. There are too many companies looking for good people, so why waste time with a job I won't be taken care of?
Only exception is if you absolutely needed the income because you are currently out of work and you've been looking for awhile. In that case, you could accept and keep looking.
Agreed. I’ve been blessed to always have a job but would take anything if I hadn’t been able to find anything. Easier to find your ideal job when you have a job.
Absolutely.
I’m fine going into an office a part of the time, but I’d be inclined to decline a job offer based on the other items you mentioned
Yes, I would definitely decline it your healthcare is imperative believe that county hospitals can prolong you receiving the proper care and treatment.
This sounds like a job I turned down
I’ve had companies require 90 days before becoming eligible for insurance. Luckily I’ve always been on my spouses plan so it didn’t affect me but I feel like that would be a non starter.

This is horrendous lol. Absolutely decline. There are so many employers out there with so many good benefits!
I would only take if I desperately needed the job and if my spouse had a job where they could obtain reasonably priced health insurance for the kids and myself.
