My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. I have a senior business process manager interview next week, any tips? It requires 4 hour long interviews in which one is a business case study. What would you recommend while I am prepping?

I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.

After 4 months of casually applying and 3 months of dedicated searching after work hours, 130+ applications, 5 recruiter screens and 3 final rounds later... finally found an exit!!! You can all do it - I believe in you all!

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all.
