Always producing. What good is the name of a place if you never produce anything?
The name is more valuable than most realize so I’d choose Droga. Always think beyond your current job because in advertising there is a good chance you wan’t have it for long. At your next job you’ll be introduced as “so and so from Droga5” and that’s how people will remember you, not because you produced some kick ass retail activation at an agency no one’s heard of. All bets are off if your work wins major awards but again the lesson is that work from major agencies are considered differently than work from no name agencies
Go to droga and hustle until you get something produced
ABP - Always Be Producing. What you make will always be more important than where you work.
I would take production over non-production.
At this point, I’d rather have the droga name. I’ve made so many crappy banner ads and they’re not getting me anywhere. I’d rather struggle to have work produced but hopefully keep learning than stay where I am producing mediocre work
You will be working till 9pm everyday and produce nothing? That just frustrating and will not do any good for tour career. Don't forget what is our job. To make a client sell and be better perceived by costumers. You will succeed on your career if you can have a positive impact on a brand. But i doubt that you will go to droga5 and not make work.
What makes you think you won't get anything produced at droga? If you have really good ideas they will get made, regardless of your level
You can being producing nothing or crappy work anywhere. A no name agency or Droga5. It’s always a gamble, but at least at a well known place you get the name that stays with you and potential great people to learn from.
Eh, about half the time. The other half, some hack takes your idea, sticks a new handle on it and claims it as theirs. Yet other times account kills it before client sees it due to being "off strategy". But this is at every agency. Coming up with the idea is half the battle in this business
Someone sounds bitter😬
Don’t leave your ideas on the printer for the hacks. Or do and trap them in their on sack of lies
