Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

Apply for it. Know they may ask why you want to leave the agency world after two years but I think that's an easy, "there has to be more out there" answer or some shit.
A lot of client side positions (at least for creatives) are looking for agency experience as a plus. I think having agency experience (even two years) shows you can multitask, "turn and burn" and be flexible when things go a little nuts in their million-tier approval process.
