Tips on getting a job client side when you only have agency experience (of two years)?

Just got offered to join potential project that would relocate me to LA for 3-4 months for onsite work. Their office is downtown, I’m single, 29 have the flexibility in lifestyle for this kind of move. Is it worth coming to LA rn? There are obvious Covid risks, but anything else I should consider when looking at this move? Thank you

It has been a month since I have left my prior firm. My former co-workers continue to reach out to ask about questions about matters/assignment that I worked on while I was at my prior firm. This information they could readily find themselves (e.g., which ancillaries are open w/ the client). How do I politely tell them to leave me alone?

do you cover your tattoos for client meetings? i already had tattoos but were easy to hide on camera, i now have a pretty full sleeve (all visible on camera) and not sure if i should cover them (wearing long sleeve top or cardigan) or just live my best life?

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
