I wrote two fairly memorable essays (for me) that worked for all the colleges I really cared about.

The first one in retrospect basically translates to "I'm indecisive and am interested in everything so that's why I chose X university because they have world-class programs in engineering, music, business, and everything else and I can continue to be indecisive in life." Ended up going here and still doing the indecisive bit 12 years later 🤷🏻‍♂️

The second essay I wrote waxed philosophical about the Ship of Theseus and the concept of identity as applied to a hypothetical teleportation machine on Mars that worked by deconstructing your body and recreating an identical copy in a separate location. Ah, the days of the Uncommon Application...

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well?
