How’s everyone handling stay at home? This was my first week and I must say, the loss of normalcy felt quite rough

Becoming a first time dad next week. Had 3-week pat leave planned but Partner has indicated I reconsider and let him know.
Got a project role, was on bench all 2020, and confused how to plan ahead.

Daycare closed due to Bay Area shelter-in-place restrictions: so we're doing Zoom meetings to have our preschoolers say hi to each other! It breaks my heart when they say they miss each other...

For those with nanny what is your screening procedure when they show up to babysit?
I know the contamination risk can't be completely eliminated but any advices will be appreciated.

Our baby was just diagnosed with Pyloric stenosis. He’s schedule for surgery in the am. He’s ~3 weeks old. Wish we would have found out sooner.. Asking for thoughts and prayers. Thanks

Any breastfeeding resources/advice that you found useful? Following a C-section, Wife struggling to get her milk supply up and baby not game to latch for more than few seconds (Formula fed so far)

Anyone been facing what to do with their Nanny during this time? Have them come? Keep them home? Demand they don’t interact with people? This is such a weird situation.

Now feels like a good opportunity for 529s. Planning on putting a lot in and letting the market rebound/correct. 5 and 1 yo, goal is full tuition and expenses when they are there.
