I haven't got 3 straight days of taking an afternoon nap in over a decade!

Looking for advice on career change. I’m a 45 year old single mom - I’ve been at my job for 18 years. I know I could be doing more. The job isn’t fulfilling and the workplace is rather toxic. The pay is pretty good - when I look at other open positions in my field / the pay is much less or the same. Honestly just unsure of what I “want” to do. Stay where I am and get a side hustle that may be fulfilling or change careers altogether. I’m a placement coordinator at a home care agency.

How do you handle it when your kid can’t go to school/daycare? Daycare options in my area are extremely limited, and the one are in is pretty good. They are very strict about kids not being there when they are sick, which I appreciate and mostly agree with. Except that the rules are along the lines of if your kid has a temperature over 100, they cannot come in until they’ve been under 100 for 72 hours. According to every doctor I’ve spoke to, 100 isn’t even considered a fever. (See rest below)

Potty training tips? We just started with our 2.5yr old and have made 0 progress going on 4 days. He’s super smart and inquisitive and we probably made a mistake in having high expectations. He’s just super freaked out about the potty and just holds everything in.

Additional context, looking at buying a new house that is zoned for a school rated a 3. They are building a new elementary school that is zoned for the new neighborhood. So would be sending my kindergartener to the other school for a year... doesn’t seem like that big of a deal for a year? Don’t like the idea of doing private school for a year (~$20k for a year).
