Honda Pilot sets the adventure factor to 10. What can’t you fit in there?
Seeing how my explorer is faring with two kids, I wouldn't want to clean out a lease for turn in.
+1 for VW Atlas, especially with the 6 yr bumper to bumper warranty for the 2019 models
I’ve got a 2018 traverse. Bought it new, and have put 45,000 miles on it in 2 years. Kids love it with the bucket seats in the second row. Easy to get in and out. It’s a BIG car though, so be aware if you’re coming from something small.
I have seriously been considering the Telluride too, especially given the third row seating. Since the Telluride has been out a year or two, buying used may make sense but it's hard to say without crunching the numbers. It's pretty affordable at MSRP already, so a lease could be the way to go depending on Kia's options. Curious, does the Telluride meet expectations for quality and drive?
Above the Telluride, I'm actually hoping/waiting for Lexus to revamp the GX (they say maybe by next year). It currently drives like a tank which is why I passed on it a couple years ago for a sedan. I will say, leasing definitely takes the worry out of car ownership.
Just bought a used 2019 VW Atlas. Absolutely love it. Got it fully loaded for under 30k.
Bigger is better. I bought a big Cadillac sedan to replace my car and our two row SUV should really be bigger. We only have one kid! These car seats are ridiculously big. If you want anyone else to ever travel in your car with you buy the biggest one you can afford is now my advice to new parents—I mean maybe pass on the Suburban until you have several, but compact cars and children are not copacetic. Don’t lease anything. Buy 1 yr used the best and biggest you can reasonably afford.
Yukon Tahoe or Escalade
GMC Acadia works well for two kids. Like the aesthetics more than the traverse
Whatever you decide, wipe it down thoroughly with disinfectant wipes
