Don't want to be the hater of this bowl, but I genuinely think this is the reason most Americans can't get around to paying their student loan debts off. I get you have to live and have some fun, but if you can't afford a $600 show, you just don't go to one. You don't get into more debt for it. Am I being harsh or do you agree with me?

Any fresh out-of-college designers here? I've been applying to jobs and haven't had any luck yet, but what worries me more is how these super low starting salaries will affect student loan debt payments! I feel like repaying my debt is going to be close to impossible, especially considering I have unsubsidized loans that have accrued interest during my time in college. How much are you making in your first few years and how are allocating expenses?

Where do you go from here? You have a low income (even though I work my life off), you're living as frugally as possible, you barely cater to your wants, just needs ... and yet student loan debt is not a problem I'm able to be at ease with. Every month is a struggle. I live in a studio so my rent is only $1.2K. What should I be changing? Where can I spend less? I'm absolutely exhausted and can't figure this out on my own.

How is everyone feeling about this? Among other agencies, the Treasury Department might just be the logical candidate to take on the student loan responsibility, but I still feel like this is a weird move and is just going to make things worse for us. Now, it's just going to be a bunch of stories about inaccurate billing, not being able to reach servicers, or accessing loan forgiveness programs. What are your projections about the future? haha
