Anyone get a partial discount on the United Club Card annual fee? Renewal just came up, and wouldn't mind paying even though I'm not flying but it looks like almost all clubs are closed.

Just watched United 93 on Netflix. So many people owe their lives to those 40 people onboard United Airlines flight 93! Salute to all the brave souls!

United Airlines COO says employees should 'seriously consider' voluntary separation from the airline


The airline is precluded from laying off staff for the next six months under terms of a federal financial assistance package that will provide it with about $5 billion, though it is preparing to cut staff as soon as Oct. 1, according to an April letter sent to staff by CEO Oscar Munoz and President Scott Kirby.

Just got an upgrade on my fight from ORD to SFO as United Gold. That never happens!

In the ORD B6 United Club - a dude filled an empty water bottle from the community dispenser - touching the tap. When done, he filled his personal sanitizer bottle from the community dispenser. Irony?

What's your take on new requirements for United 1K (the PQS)? With Deloitte Travel tickets heavily discounted, I think it is next to impossible to hit 1K as easy as before now. Even on long flights.
