First time flying United today and oh my god... their app is terrible

The only thing I like about United is its app.

Which airline are you coming from and what do you see are the shortcomings?

like

I absolutely love the United app. Etihad’s is the worst in my opinion...always jumps to your connecting flight even before you board your first flight.

like

What? United’s app is literally the best in the world. Maybe not in beauty but definitely in functionality.

like

United app is by far the best of them all. Rich in functionality - can switch flights without making a call, there’s so much there.

Delta and AA are so far behind. Delta forces you to call their customer service for any small change....you want to make to your flight schedule

like

No, they don’t. You just have to know how it works. Everything Delta is way better than anything United.

like

Delta is great except it can’t play video.

like

I’ve used AA and UA and can’t stand AA’s app at all. I still don’t know how to access the upgrade list on AA 😓

like

You click on your flight and swipe up at the bottom (same day) for AA upgrade list

What app is good?

like

AA is the worst, out of all of the us airlines, UA is my favorite

I am thinking to negotiate to

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

I got an offer from Deloitte India and KPMG Global Services into deal advisory role. The salary difference is not very much but I'm confused now which one to join.

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?
