Staying at the Ritz and STR in the Maldives so expecting good service and reading mixed things about tipping. I usually don’t tip much at hotels (never really thought about it) but what do people do? Is there an expectation and would the amount be based on like room rate or just a flat daily per day?

Almost all the postings require actual certification or build experience. I am thinking that I may have to go back to school. Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without.
