Any CBS ED applicants heard back on interviews / rejections? What does the average timeline of response look like?
On an MBB case R1 interview, interviewer asked if I had info on future communication and I just said "Just finished R1 and R2 is going to come presumably based on R1 interviews", potentially implying that I thought nailed the case. I had not. I knew I'd bombed it. 😅😂🤦♂️ I literally found a way to bomb again in the last 30 seconds.
Help! Need some tips on negotiating. Step by step. SC at Deloitte offered at AWS for L5 data scientist. Big raise to $240k TC. 3 YOE+MS. Word of mouth says that this is a good offer for my location (DC). I have a bunch of questions and I'm also looking for any tips for anything I'm missing. -Even if it's a good offer, is there always $ on the table to ask for? -I have a final interview elsewhere this Thursday. Should I start negotiating now or wait until I hear on the other option? ...

Should I reach out to the recruiter for the final offer? I got an email from recruiter last week saying they would like to initiate the offer process and asked my salary expectation. I replied with my answers but haven’t heard back since then. Should I reach out? Or that might impact my negotiating position for pay.

Hi Guys, Can you please refer me for the role of Python/PySpark developer if you have vacancies in your organization.
Have any fishes from this bowl ever moved from Senior Consultant to an analyst position at an investment bank/asset manager? Keen to know whether it ended up feeling like a step down/starting over? Only asking as a lot of recruiters are approaching me for ODD analyst roles and I’m not sure whether I should play hardball for an associate/AVP type role. Thanks!
I am currently applying to consulting from undergrad and am wondering what the best additions to my resume would be. I currently have pro bono consulting and advisory experience with nice outcomes, have worked on some entrepreneurial projects, and have interned at a startup as well. What would be the best addition if I could choose between research work at my university, interning at another startup, and starting another company?
If I apply to a position on StaffIt, does the person who posted it get an automated notification? Or does it have to flow through my Resource Manager?
Anyone in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) space? I am AEM architect and looking for change. Open for referral, if your team/company is hiring for AEM architect/Lead? Thanks
Anyone know of a similar resource to levels.fyi for engineering? A family member is trying to get more info about a position at Lockheed Martin
What is it like working in PE? What type of work do people in this field normally do from week to week? Is the field generally taxing with tons of working hours or does it vary on company, industry specialization, team, etc. Currently a Big 4 management consultant and a head hunter reached out about a PE Equity Operating Associate role in the southeast region.
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!
Is there such thing as too much ass kissing in a job interview? Or everyone likes for the interviewee to do their research and act like they would really like to work for the company and the creative director they are interviewing with?
Has anyone been in a situation where they receive two offers at the same company? I am interviewing for two different roles with separate departments. I am nearing towards the end of the process for both. I don’t think either recruiter knows. My main concern is that I may be pulled from consideration for one of the roles.
I’m back to having no billable work again. My department almost completely dried up when covid started, so I’ve been relying on work from other busy departments at my firm to keep me busy since March. I feel like I start a new job every couple of weeks and am constantly begging for work. I’m just exhausted. Can anyone else relate?
Which tech firms apart from Amazon are open to take people without prior product background as product managers? I’ve seen Amazon is pretty open via the Product manager non tech route. Anyone know of other firms that give new PMs a chance? (I’m asking for post MBA 2 year MBB consulting experience) McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company
To all my 25 year olds out there. How much do yall have saved up in your bank vs retirement vs other investments?
Does anyone lie about their age to their client? I'm 26, and have meetings with some older client sometimes and the question of age sometimes comes up - I feel like my age loses me cred.
I am just starting year 4 as an associate doing 100% med mal defense trial work. I know our insurance guidelines require partners to do a lot with so much $$$ on the line, but in 3+ years, I have only: attended 36 depos (12/yr or 1/mo) of those 36, I: noticed 3 (1/yr) and presented 3 (1/yr) I have attended 1 mediation and tried 1 small claims “trial” I feel like I am losing my attorney skills, rather than improving them. Can I expect more opportunities or do I need to make a switch?
How far out can you typically set up interviews? Can I take two weeks before first interview?
Considering a position at a known tech brand...how much stock options should I be asking for/how does it work?
How are the exits from Big 4 to SAP consulting? Specifically for those that did SAP implementations at big 4. Looking in terms of pay, WLB, and travel specifically. Any other thoughts welcomed.
Indian H1b / eb2 holders in the green card queue - seems like the wait time has been reducing quite aggressively. Is this expected to continue? How are others planning next steps (eg move to eb3)?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Moms - Suggestions on where do you buy flowy or loose tops to wear post partum. Have a toddler so out and about most of the time but hate when someone enquires how many months pregnant I am .
How is Minneapolis as a city? Also, how big is the Deloitte office and client base there compared to other firms? Considering a move there or Columbus.
Working with an (external) headhunter for a role, and just found out they want me to proceed to the second round of interviews. I had told the headhunter after the first round that I was interested in moving forward (although I did express some concerns I had) but after thinking about it, I’ve decided I’m not interested in the role. Does it look bad to go back on my word and drop out of the process now?
