How long can you go without having anything to do before you get laid off?

So that’s the first time I am in a role where I am trusted to chose platforms and services to use, and I am overwhelmed!
I work for a B2B company, and am searching for a platform where I can monitor seo, and manage social media primarily.
I’m obviously looking at hubspot but what other platforms (combined of individual) do you like most?

I know agencies across the board did some layoffs right before the holidays, but when do we think hiring will pick up again? Getting to a point where I feel like I need to start thinking about a change.

What are the pros/cons of working at an agency in the Middle East (DUBAI) as a Westerner?

Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. Is it wise to switch from testing background to Salesforce after 10 years of IT experience? If so should I start as an admin?

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Or should I wait until I somehow gain more hands on SF experience?

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Hey everyone, general question here, Currently a Senior Assurance Associate , looking to make a career move as i’m really over public at this point. I’ve had a few colleagues recommend Consulting, as i had the personality and “mouth” for it. So wanted to begin my endeavor on the bowl to ask has anyone made this career move. What exactly does consulting entail. What field of Consulting have you moved to if the experience fit. Very general question, hoping for past experiences.
