So, I got through to final stages at a management consultancy where they all ‘loved me’ apparently. Job being advertised at £50-70k, they said I have potential & if they do want to offer me a role (within 2 wks as snr mgt team all on holiday wtf) would be a starting salary of £45k with salary increases (timeline of this increase tbd) in accordance with my performance. They’ve tried recruiting internally but can’t even get anyone past the first round. I feel like rejecting on principle! Thoughts?
My quota is based on invoiced sales that resets quarterly. This includes a sliding-scale commission % based on how far you’re at on your quarterly goal (towards quota) which is checked/paid once a month. The only thing that goes toward our quota is PAID sales. This excludes orders still being processed by DE (largest orders) and customers still within NET payment terms. We don’t get paid until the company gets paid. Am I missing warning potential? Am I being expected of A and judged on B?
There is not much work for me this week at my agency. Any tips on what to do and still show my willingness to work hard for the company?

How bad does it look to deny work from your boss for clients that you're not scoped for? The issue isn't the extra work, I don't mind doing it. I'm just not really seeing a personal benefit from it.

Has anyone had any employees, that are meeting with clients or vendors in person, ask for vaccination status? If so, what has your company set up to handle this?
Four months in a new gig and I hate it: my boss doesn't understand what a CD does and why the role is important, wants me to be a full time project manger and designer on top of my existing role, frequently says my team is lazy and not committed to their jobs because they push back on an unrealistic workload despite already working 10+ hour days, micromanages like crazy and more.
How do I diplomatically address this in my resignation letter that I'm sending this week?
How do other women in sales deal with leaving their family for work trips? I've been in sales a long time but now I have a partner and an infant. My partner gets frustrated when I have to leave because we share all of the parental duties equally when I'm home and me leaving is very distruptive. How do others deal with this?
Am I behind if I don't know tableau/SQL/R etc? I'm pretty strong with excel, but that's about it. How did you guys learn other skills? I'm not really given the opportunity at my current agency.
Are freelance designers actually valued in the field? I've been told a couple times that without agency/company backing, my work means nothing.

I’m fairly new at my current company, I’m leading a department and have 3 female peers who lead their respective teams under our boss and the CMO. I’m significantly younger than my peers within our department as well as across other departments, and wondering if I’m just being paranoid… Ive been asked a few times about my age and joke and avoid answering. Should I be proud that I’m a young leader, or continue avoiding the answer and attempting to come across as older?
As a junior strategy consultant who’s keen to work in PE, would a CFA or CAIA be an advantage when applying for an investment role in the future?

Its just 3 months, I joined a company and I am already stressed. I was told that I need to come to office twice a week ( which is 2 hrs away from my home) but now since 3 months I am asked to come thrice a week. Sometimes have to extend a hour or two in office without extra pay. Is it okay if I switch or shall wait for few more months and then see? Please advise
Tata Consultancy Services made a revenue of $25B last FY. This translates to roughly 194546Crores. As per reports Rajesh Gopinathan, our beloved CEO saw a bump of 26.6% on his remuneration which sums up to 25.77 CPA. TCS saw a record breaking YOY revenue which was from $22B to $25B. Now without complaining or starting a feud, lets start on a healthy discussion about what & how TCS could have done better this year for their front end employees who indeed lead to the revenue every year!
