I’ve been in HR now for about six years and have never had a mentor. I’ve been relying mostly on SHRM and other people in the company for feedback. I went on a date last week and it went really well. We basically set up 2nd & 3rd dates that night. 2nd date's Friday for drinks and 3rd date is drag brunch. Date had to end pretty early bc she's in the med field and needs to wake up around 5am. I'm new to dating people my own gender and I want to make moves but I'm nervous/hesitant since I'm new to this. There was light touching, leaning in, eye contact, but I want to do more. Anything I should do on the 2nd date? How to initiate?

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.

Hello! This is a long story, so I’ll try to keep it brief. I work for a very small supplement company - it’s myself (marketing/acct mgmt) my coworker (sales), and the owner. My coworker is struggling to complete his tasks/meet his goals, and the owner is coming to me about angry clients. I’m afraid my coworkers inability to complete his duties is somehow being reflected onto me? What’s the most tactful way to have a conversation, either with him or the owner? Can provide further detail if needed

What features do you look for when looking for payment and merchant services? It seems like a lot of people go with Square because it’s simple but you’re paying for it and it doesn’t offer many features. I’m trying to get back into this business. I work with a reputable company offering full-featured business service and I’m here to offer other features and help other small businesses evaluate their options. Can help cut costs, help with cash flow and other services, inventory management, etc.
