Though hardly international, i think Montreal is a sleeper, especially for a short trip. Mex City, Oaxaca and Queretero are also bangers. Mexico City is steeped in history, a good neighborhood to stay in is La Roma, Oaxaca is stunning and some would argue the food capital of Mexico it is also on the northern edge of the coffee and chocolate (cacao’) belt, so you may be able to do a day trip to the mountains and your a farm/production facility, Queretero kind of reminds me of Spain.

3-4 days is not much so I would say Vancouver, Mexico City, or some island

But strongly prefer non stop. Some ideas we have discussed: Paris, Panama, Istanbul, Vienna, Hong Kong. Any other ideas? Looking for some adventure, fancy hotel, good food

Congrats on the milestone. Amazing work. I always default to Japan. Best country ever.

What about Portugal? I went there for a 4-5 day trip and was able to do a little bit of Lisbon and then algarve and the beach too

Youre willing to fly to Asia but not willing to connect? I'd say go to Lisbon or Montreal. The connection isn't awful though Heathrow

like

Yes. Connecting is annoying. I actually prefer a 12 hr flight to Asia over the 8 hour flight to Europe. 12 hr. You can get settled, watch a movie, get a full nights sleep, have breakfast.. and you are there.

like

We are open. One thing we like about panama is that you can get both. But are somewhat limited by our time of year and non stop requirement. If we could pick anywhere, we would probably like something on the order of Greek islands (that’s where we did our honeymoon) or Cartagena. But those aren’t practical due to flight times/connections for. 3-4 day trip

How about Croatia or Denmark ?

Thanks M1. We actually just went to Japan for 4 days last summer. And loved it. Tokyo/Kyoto. First class each way out of ord. It was amazing

Love Portugal. But I don’t think there is a non stop

Iceland

Ok so Asia it is. Go to Singapore

I was just in langkawi. I’m sure that’s not direct either but awesome place.

You can get to all 6 inhabited continents nonstop from ORD (the only place in the Americas this is possible on commercial flights btw).

United has some great specials from ORD to Australia and SE Asia at the moment, though most would require a layover on the west coast. When I go to Asia from ORD (I second the Singapore suggestion above btw), I often get an all-day layover in SFO so I can hang out there for a day.

Iceland is awesome, though you can’t see the Northern Lights in May. Montreal is also solid and a more practical 3-4 day trip.

Have fun, and congrats on the anniversary .

St.Charles, Illinois

No non stop to Singapore!

Paris! First days of the French open are Memorial Day weekend. Also second Mexico City.

I have read Quito is great, especially the old town

I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Hey , I've tried looking for specific keyboard shortcuts for Google sheets but can't seem to find any. Before giving up, wanted to check with the experts for the following:
1. Turn on / off data filter (similar to Ctrl + Shift + L in Excel)
2. See drop-down options in a cell (similar to Alt + Down arrow key)

- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)
