I'm serving Notice period and last date shall be 13th May 2022. Can someone help me understand if the bands and compensation isn't release by that date, will that be adjusted in full and final settlement?? If so, what about the components, which all shall be credited in that FFS?

When work from office is going to resume???
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Great offer for grade 28. Generally g29 people get this compensation. Considering this, since you are already at the higher end, future increments may be impacted.
G28 is manager / architect level position in general, but for AIML the title stays as sr. AIML Engineer or manager AIML engineering. Responsibilities may vary team to team. Expect to work independently+ lead a team of a couple of engineers.
Work pressure may depend on the nature of project. There are plenty of great and established ai products in optum, there you may get good exposure and work-life balance will also be good. Though because of this ai wave, and pressure from leadership to adopt and build on ai, now everyone want to be in this race and many teams are doing pocs, for some it make sense but many of teams are just trying to run in the race not meant for them and those pocs / projects are being wipe out. Make sure to confirm with hiring manager, are they really an ai team or do they really have production compatible business use case or not. Don't join the novice team otherwise your role will be just do the poc and train the people and absorb the pressure. In general optum is a great organization, just make sure your are joining a right team( very difficult to find out before joining but try to put some effort there)
You need to be in office for 10 days a month. Daily hours doesn't being tracked but recommendation is it be in office for at least 3-4 hours.

Struggling to find projects

Hey, quick question. Since this is a POC, I’m curious why the client expects 12–14 hour days. Is the expectation that these POCs will eventually convert into long-term projects, or do most of them remain POCs and conclude after validation?
Anyday Llyod which has low variable pay and stable project, currently they have opened up a new IT services wing just like Infosys, TCS and that is why they are paying more than the level and market.My suggestion would be dodge the offer from Optum.
I also received the similar offer but decided not to join.
Any specific reason you dodged optum?
Optum is good to join. Not needed to be in office for fixed hours. Just need to maintain 10 days a month. Projects do move to production
WLB is generally good, however depends on team to team
You can plan your next 3-5 years here easily, rest depends on you how you can grow
