2 years out of undergrad at another firm and applying for experienced hire recruiting at BCG. Any chance of getting hired as a Consultant instead of Associate?

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. But I don’t think I couldn’t keep up already for a daily grind. The reason why I did not pursue it earlier in my career is that I am not from a target school and I do not have an MBA. lol thoughts?

Let me tell you, I love the flexibility at my firm, OK pay, and I do a great job, and am comfortable pushing back when I have too much work . BUT managers are terrible at planning and recently end up putting me in preventable situations where I need to work 55 hrs or have the staff work the 55 hours. I literally cannot since I have a family and my daughter is only in day care a few hours a day, I'm already doing my max work. Is it crazy that I may want to leave Bc I hate making ppl miserable?

I am prior military and went to law school. I applied for a lateral job in a growing group that doesn’t have associates yet. I talked to a sr. associate in a different office/group to get a better sense of the firm’s vibe and we both really enjoyed our call. He kindly offered to recommend an interview to HR. Is there anything else I can do? YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium. All the 11 years I am with automation only. Is it possible for me to learn new technology and switch. Recently acquired AWS cloud practitioner certification which is of no use to me now as they are asking for exp. Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. Welp. Had an interview scheduled for this morning for 30 mins. I join the webex & nothing. I email the recruiter after 15 mins and get a response saying the interviewer had something come up and would like to reschedule.
