I read this as 22 years old. Oooof
Me too! 😆
I’ve been here for 8 years. Came in as a direct admit L4.
Consulting prior to ACN?
Yes. Mix of industry and consulting prior, but more years in industry than consulting.
I read this as 22 years old at Accenture and almost lost the plot LOL
How much of that was at ACN? Thanks for sharing.
Thank heavens I read that again.
It makes me feel better that there are folks like OP with way more ACN holdings than me who’ve been putting up with its 💩 stock performance and weak guidance for the last 18 months.
OP how much longer do you think we need to wait for a return to its highs?

Honestly, no idea. I don’t focus much on where I think the stock with go. I just hustle and get as many grants as I can (essentially free to me once they vest), so whatever the share price is, I just sell whenever I can.
I think in 400s, we were trading at a massive premium relative to other public firms. If you look at P/E for Accenture vs other pro serv firms, we were in the 40s at one point, and others were much lower. If there’s a valid reason for that, fine - maybe our strategy is amazing and we legit expect to out earn our competitors enough to justify that premium on our share price. But the market quickly realized the direction this place is headed, and decided our PE should be closer to our competitors since we’re basically not differentiated as much as we used to be, and that trend appears to be continuing in the wrong direction.
So who knows. I think where we are now feels like the right share price and we’ll see normal incremental growth equal to the overall market going forward.
Sheeesh, is it worth it to be at your level?
🤷♂️
I enjoy what I do and still enjoy doing it here. So that makes my answer “yes”. But, I didn’t chase the level or money. Those things came naturally, because I’m good at what I do, and that (I believe) is only true because I actually enjoy it.
If things ever change here such that I hate it, or I ever start not liking what I do, then I’ll leave and then my answer changes to “no”, I suppose.
Punchline - your mileage may vary. I prioritize happiness over money, but plenty of folks will suffer through jobs they hate for the big paychecks. So you’ll get widely different answers to your question depending on who you ask.

That’s insane. Congrats!
What's the rest of TC? Is it all bonus or is it something like 50/50 bonus/RSU?
More RSUs than bonus. It’s hard to precisely describe because of how many different ways you can get RSUs (annual performance, VEIP match, new MD grant, sometimes retention, etc), and the different grant types have different vesting schedules so over the years they really start stacking up on top of each other.
This also potentially makes TC quite different for MDs in the same level - if they aren’t getting the same volume of RSUs each year through the different mechanisms, it will result in a lower TC.
